What is Erasmus+?
About Erasmus+
Erasmus+ is the European Union's programme for education, training, youth and sport. It provides funding for students, trainees, teachers and youth workers to undertake learning and work experience abroad.
Key Action 1 (KA1)
This is the most commonly used Erasmus+ action for work placements and vocational training mobility. It provides grants for individuals to travel and gain experience in another country.
Students and Trainees
Students and trainees from EU member state institutions with Erasmus+ accreditation can come to Liverpool for study or work placement mobilities.
Vocational Training Students
Vocational training students from KA1 accredited organisations in EU member states can undertake work placements in Liverpool.
Recent Graduates
Recent graduates within 12 months of graduation from an Erasmus+ accredited institution can complete a work placement mobility in Liverpool.
Staff and Teachers
Staff and teachers from eligible sending organisations can undertake professional development placements in Liverpool. Please contact us to discuss your organisation's eligibility.
